I'm going to their website right now. And it's nice that they're not $150 too. Last thing I want is to spend that much money on jeans and then not fit into them in 3 months! I feel your pain as I only worked out 4 times last week and as you know had a few too many cocktails on Friday. I decided it was my "hiatus" week in the midst of my 6 week push for Vegas readiness. It will be a good week this week-I can feel it. And P.S.-if there's anything to go off of a healthy eating plan for it is YOUR CUPCAKES!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02894697876500977761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218677180315695042.post-29278457840375602882010-02-28T21:01:53.545-05:002010-02-28T21:01:53.545-05:00hang in there catie! i have bad days too. just got...hang in there catie! i have bad days too. just gotta pick up where you left on and keep on chugging!Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04451283986426157308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218677180315695042.post-10757190918755871892010-02-04T12:21:43.110-05:002010-02-04T12:21:43.110-05:00catie, i agree with the 'spiritual but not rel...catie, i agree with the 'spiritual but not religious' thing. and i wish i could get to yoga every day, but it's just not possible with my schedule. i feel more toned every time i go, and it's all about that, and flexible and having a 'still mind'. i think it's a mental work out too. and once you start going a lot, you'll totally be able to do all the crazy hard poses. it just takes a while. I have trouble denying myself food, and it seems with the WW program you don't have to. You just have to moderate what you eat. I've tried the "no more fried food" thing, and that lasted about 5 minutes. I'm starting to log my food, which hopefully will help! You keep up the good work too!Catiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01583412210361859582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218677180315695042.post-16173308696242125362010-01-27T12:00:53.019-05:002010-01-27T12:00:53.019-05:00Catie, I've been on a raw food diet/trained/ra...Catie, I've been on a raw food diet/trained/ran a half marathon in January. I figured, I can't train for a marathon & not be healthy. I started just vegan, and moved into raw when I read up more about it. I blog too! (Though I haven't been as good about it since I started school just because I'm taking 5 classes & working full time). good luck! this is a great way to connect! megrfj.blogspot.comMeghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00614838445120260050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218677180315695042.post-85717059224069421012010-01-26T21:18:17.246-05:002010-01-26T21:18:17.246-05:00So, for the biggest loser at school all we do is w...So, for the biggest loser at school all we do is weigh in every Monday morning and whoever has the biggest percentage of weight loss after 12 weeks wins $50. There isn't a specific program to follow, the idea was for everyone to chose their own healthy method of losing weight and share experiences. I think it helps when you are trying to do healthy things alongside others. I also signed up for weight watchers. The program really does work when you stick to it and I find if I have to weigh-in for a stranger once a week that I am more accountable. I like WW because it's not about depriving yourself of your favorite foods. It's more about portion control, eating when you are hungry, and eating more "filling" foods (veggies and whole grains) instead of "thrilling" foods (chocolate and cheese doodles). They give you enough points so you can still have treats, you just have to be careful not to over do it. I also LOVE the ice cream candy bars, but man they are expensive!! In my first 2 weeks I have lost about 7 pounds just following the food program. I do the WII fit a few times a week but no real workout routine yet. It's hard to motivate to go to the gym when you don't have someone to go with!! I love reading your blog! Keep up the good work!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18378607348395004466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6218677180315695042.post-15500529680103685092010-01-25T21:55:12.572-05:002010-01-25T21:55:12.572-05:00Thanks Rach! Is there a meal plan? That's definitely going to be the most difficult part. I love food, and it's mostly the pasta and cheese variety I love most.
